Pielke also showed that the IPCC found quite surprising results on extreme weather: floods, hurricanes, tropical cyclones, meteorological and hydrological droughts are not more frequent, nor are tornadoes, hail, lightning or strong winds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clintel letter to IPCC and world leaders: serious misrepresentations in Summary<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Earlier this week Clintel sent a letter to the chairman of the IPCC stating that the AR6 Summary for Policymakers misrepresents the latest objective climate science. The letter<\/a> with its appendices will also be distributed to world leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clintel has carried out an interim review of the AR6 Summary for Policymakers (SPM). We are of the view that regrettably, the SPM fails to meet adequate standards of objective scientific integrity and therefore will unfortunately misinform discussions in COP26 in Glasgow. Our more detailed analysis will follow in November, directly after the COP26.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clintel remains committed to a sustainable future for the planet, but insists that the path to sustainability must be informed by objective climate science; in our view, adaptation, much more effective than mitigation, is the optimal way forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Richard Lindzen: “Western climate hysteria benefits China”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

“China recognizes that climate hysteria in the West leads to policies that clearly benefit China”, says prof. Richard Lindzen in an article in Tablet Magazine<\/em>. “Certainly, many of the proposed Western responses (electric cars, windmills, and solar panels) will involve heavy investments in China, which dominates the global solar industry and is already the world\u2019s biggest market for electric vehicles.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Lindzen, China also sees the threat of climate change as readily manageable, regardless of what one believes about the underlying physics. “Remember that China\u2019s leaders, as opposed to ours, tend to have technical backgrounds.”  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unique programme at 14th EIKE Climate Conference<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the same time as the UN Climate Conference in Glasgow, there is also a big sceptic climate conference: IKEK 14<\/a>, on November 12 and 13 in Gera (Germany). The conference is organized by EIKE<\/a>, the German climate realist organization. EIKE has succeeded in compiling a programme with several top names from climate-sceptic science, like William Happer, Richard Lindzen, Peter Ridd, Susan Crockford, John Christy, Sebastian L\u00fcning and Fritz Vahrenholt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
